Finally arrived in Prague after a long an uneventful (thank God) flight. Had no trouble getting through immigration/customs, and all my luggage arrived on time and in tact. My ride picked me up at the airport and dropped me at my flat, on schedule. Managed to head down to the Andel shopping center and pick up an adaptor so I could use my laptop, grab a sandwich, and some water - that's just about everything a girl needs at this point. Thank God I brought a Big Turk bar from Toronto, because I needed a chocolate fix, and was far too tired to sift through all the strange and delicious looking chocolate and other goodies at Tesco. I spotted a Mark's and Spencer; I'll be checking that out soon enough too.
Going out today with my flatmate Simona. She's from Sicily, and made the best cafe au lait this morning. My first breakfast in Prague consisted of italian coffee and a lemon/cheese danish; how European!! I don't have a lot of photos as yet, but that will change after today, I am sure, and I will post them as soon as I figure it out. Oddly, Blogger and Youtube have been displaying in Czech and it will take me awhile to change the settings (if I can).
